JOB SUMMARY
The IS Mobile Support Engineer handles all mobile incidents. He is also responsible for implementing standard changes (MAC : Move, Add, Change). The Mobile Support engineer will proactively monitor and manage the corporate mobile device management solution. The Mobile Support engineer will also implement and manage small projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities Tasks Network Engineer
Incident Management Initally all calls/incidents are taken by the Service Desk, in case they are mobile device related, the calls/incidents are passed on to the Mobile Management team. The management and follow-up of incidents is done via the ServiceNow application. The IS Mobile Support engineer will manage the incident queue and document all incident activities in the application. The IS Mobile Support engineer will manage the incidents according to the defined priority and SLA timers. Management of the alerts generated by the mobile device management applications. In case that an alert has a business impact, incident is created and the incident management procedure is followed. Management of the shared mailbox of the Mobile Management team. The shared mailbox is used by End users to ask question but also for all operational communications with the different teams and suppliers.
Configuration
Management Maintain devices configurations (Create, Update, Assign, Remove), maintain Apps deployement with the help of SLS colleagues. Maintain the Configuration Items Database in ServiceNow. Maintain subscriptions with the different suppliers. Maintain also SAP communications Objects.
Service Level : Management
(SLM), ticketing, follow-up and escalation to suppliers
Dispatching problems to the appropriate internal or external resources, suppliers and underpinning contractors. Escalate incidents internally when SLA timer of the supplier is reached.
Change management Implement and follow-up basic and procedure-supported changes on mobile devices. All change activities will be documented by the IS Mobile Support engineer in ServiceNow.
Documentation,procedures and work instructions
Advise on, review, develop, maintain and update internal procedures, work instructions. Create documentation for recurrent tickets for the ServiceDesk under the supervision of the SDM.

  • Experience with Mobile Devices (iOS and Android): enrollment, configuration, troubleshooting
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams
  • ITIL

  • Apple Certified Support Professional
  • Android Enterprise certified Professional

    • De werking van de apparatuur, informatiesystemen en -overdragers controleren
    • Controleren van de land-, zee-, luchtzones en de opsporings-, bijstands-, hulpinterventies of -operaties oriënteren
    • Personeel briefen en opleiden over de technieken (gebruik, veiligheid, onderhoud, ...)
    • Onderhoudsopdrachten starten of plannen
      De conformiteit van de opdrachten controleren
    • Apparatuur, informatiesystemen en -overdragers voorbereiden of monteren (conditionering, logistiek, ...)
    • Doorgestuurde of uitgezonden gegevens, signalen, metingen en beelden opsporen of verzamelen en deze identificeren
    • De activiteiten van een team coördineren
